I’ve completed my bachelor of technology degree in Biotechnology from SASTRA University, India. Following this, I worked on a project on designing industrial scale photo-bioreactor for cultivation of marine microalgae to harvest biodiesel at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, India. I obtained a Master of Science degree in Cell and Tissue engineering from Keele University, United Kingdom. Following this I did my PhD at ISTM, Keele University under the EPSRC Doctoral Training Centre for Regenerative medicine with Dr. Neil Telling and Prof. Alicia El Haj. My doctoral research was on the characterization and application of magnetic nanoparticles to manipulate stem cell behaviour.
